Tabby joined the Lucky 13 family in the fall of 2017 as an apprentice and has been tattooing since the summer of 2018. As she tattoos, she is attending Kutztown University as a studio arts major with a concentration in drawing. Originally from Robesonia, Tabby has found a second home in Kutztown at the University and in the shop. Though her journey has nearly just begun, being a tattoo artist has been a long time dream that she still can’t believe came true so early in life.
While she is still honing her skills and finding her style, she loves drawing nature and all things art history related.
Abby started her journey in the tattoo industry at a young age, and began tattooing full-time in the summer of 2016. She grew up in the small town of Kutztown, but has tattooed all around the state. Having always been an avid artist of many mediums, she eagerly took the next step into tattooing and very quickly fell in love.
Abby often incorporates a neo-traditional style into her artwork, and is always looking to expand her knowledge in the field.
Brandon started his career in 2005 with a passion for piercing and learning about the tattoo industry. With over 12 years experience now he has the same drive he had the day he started. In 2008 he, James and Jason Clouser opened the doors of Lucky 13 with the goal of bringing affordable, high quality work to their hometown and surrounding areas.
Brandon loves piercing and is constantly learning and growing as a professional body piercer to give all his clients a safe and comfortable experience.
Kyle started working at Lucky 13 in 2014 while attending Kutztown
University. He is dedicated to learning everything he possibly can about
tattooing and is always ready to take on a new or challenging project in
the interest of that pursuit. He tends to lean towards black and grey or
blackwork designs but is just happy to be tattooing regardless of the
style or subject.
Absolutely. We use brand new single use needles for each tattoo or piercing and then dispose of them properly. All of our tools, equipment and jewelry are packaged sealed and sterilized to avoid cross contamination. We have our Autoclave in the shop and it is spore tested monthly to ensure that it is working properly. We take pride in our clean, safe and comfortable tattoo and piercing spaces.
For tattoos we do accept walk-ins when our schedules allow but for larger pieces we recommend making an appointment. You must come into the shop to schedule a tattoo appointment because we do require a non-refundable deposit which will be credited towards your tattoo when you come in to get it done.
For piercings you can walk in whenever we are open. We take our last piercing thirty minutes before we close any given day. We do get very busy at times and there may be a bit of a wait. You may however make an appointment if you would like to guarantee a piercing at a specific time. You can call the shop to schedule a piercing appointment.
It all depends on size, detail and placement of your tattoo design. Our shop minimum is $50 and our hourly rate is $100.
Piercing prices depend on the jewelry that is chosen for the initial piercing. Prices range from $45-$65 each. These prices include your choice of basic jewelry.
To receive a tattoo or piercing you must be 18 years or older and have proper identification. We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 even with parental consent. We do pierce clients under 18 (usually no younger than 12 depending on piercing) with parental consent, proper I.D. and paperwork. We need an affidavit signed and notarized (affidavit available at the shop and there’s a notary right down the street) we need a photo I.D. AND original birth certificate (we do not accept copies) for the minor and a valid photo I.D. for the parent.
What is acceptable identification?
For adults 18 and older they are one of the following:
Minors with parental consent must have all of the following:
All documents must be originals we do not accept copies. All forms of ID must be valid and not expired. We will not accept expired ID’s.
No, we do not allow children in the tattoo shop under any circumstances.
We want to protect everyone involved as piercing a minor is a pretty big deal. No one but a parent or legal guardian can sign for a minor. They are the only adult that, by Pennsylvania state law, can make a decision for a minor that will change his or her body. These steps and paperwork help to ensure that no one but you can make a decision for your child.
Yes you can! We accept Visa and MasterCard. We also accept cold hard cash. We do not take checks, trades, IOU’s or payment plans. Payment in full is expected when services are complete that day.

We carry jewelry from the best manufacturers like Anatometal, NeoMetal, LeRoi and Body Gems to be used in initial or healed piercings. Please notify your artist of any known allergy to metals or latex so we can take the steps to protect you.
