Brandon started his career at the age of 16 with a passion for piercing and learning about the tattoo industry. With over 10 years experience now he has the same drive he had the day he started. In 2008 he, James and Jason Clouser opened the doors of Lucky 13 with the goal of bringing affordable high quality work to their hometown and surrounding areas. Brandon loves doing any piercings and has an eye for high quality intricate and symmetrical piercings of any type.
Lucky 13’s most recent addition started her tattooing career in October of 2012 during her time as a student at Kutztown University. She initially pursued a career as an art teacher, but after receiving her first tattoo, immediately fell in love with the industry and changed her plans. Connor’s art background involves mixed media including acrylic and oil painting, charcoal, graphite, dry pastel and photography. She uses her experience as a painter in her tattooing, which has contributed to her passion for black and grey portraits as well as soft watercolor inspired pieces.
Since beginning her career as a tattooist in 2013, Courtney uses everyday as an opportunity to improve her work as an artist in tattooing as well as other media. She strives to learn all she can about the industry. She specializes in traditional tattoos but enjoys tattooing no matter what the style.
Kyle is a Kutztown University graduate who began his piercing career in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since. His dedication to providing a safe, precise, and comfortable piercing experience for every client drives him to continually grow as a professional piercer.
Absolutely. We use brand new single use needles for each tattoo or piercing and then dispose of them properly. All of our tools, equipment and jewelry are packaged sealed and sterilized to avoid cross contamination. We have our Autoclave in the shop and it is spore tested monthly to ensure that it is working properly. We take pride in our clean, safe and comfortable tattoo and piercing spaces.
We do accept walk-ins when our schedules allow but for larger pieces we recommend making an appointment. We do require a non-refundable deposit for appointments which will be credited towards your tattoo when you come in to get it done.
It all depends on size, detail and placement of your tattoo design. Our shop minimum is $50 and our hourly rate is $100.
Piercings vary with most being $45 and some are more. We discount multiple piercings if you are getting more than one at a time.
To receive a tattoo or piercing you must be 18 years or older and have proper identification. We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 even with parental consent. We do pierce clients under 18 (usually no younger than 12 depending on piercing) with parental consent, proper I.D. and paperwork. We need an affidavit signed and notarized (affidavit available at the shop and there’s a notary right down the street) we need a photo I.D. AND original birth certificate (we do not accept copies) for the minor and a valid photo I.D. for the parent.
What is acceptable identification?
For adults 18 and older they are one of the following:
Minors with parental consent must have all of the following:
All documents must be originals we do not accept copies. All forms of ID must be valid and not expired. We will not accept expired ID’s.
No, we do not allow children in the tattoo shop under any circumstances.
We want to protect everyone involved as piercing a minor is a pretty big deal. No one but a parent or legal guardian can sign for a minor. They are the only adult that, by Pennsylvania state law, can make a decision for a minor that will change his or her body. These steps and paperwork help to ensure that no one but you can make a decision for your child.
Yes you can! We accept Visa and MasterCard. We also accept cold hard cash. We do not take checks, trades, IOU’s or payment plans. Payment in full is expected when services are complete that day.
We use only high quality surgical steel or titanium to pierce with. Please notify your artist of any known allergy to metals or latex so we can take the steps to protect you.
No, we can only use the jewelry we have to make sure it is the right size and material and to make sure it is sterile.
We do not take appointments over the phone or via email. You must come in to the shop and put a deposit down to set up an appointment.
